2017 marks the second year of implementation for Head Start’s Early Language and Literacy Program, supported by a transformational grant from Impact 100 Garden State. Each month during the school year, families receive a different literacy message, along with a new children’s book. During the month of February, Head Start teachers conducted home visits, bringing the literacy message, generic xenical orlistat “Creating a Home Library”. Families were asked to make a small library at home with their child, and encouraged to read every day. Ms. Laura and Ms. Anahi from Room 5 are pleased to share these pictures of some of the wonderful home libraries created by Head Start families, modeled after their cozy classroom library center.
